Thank you so much for joining me on this journey. I like to explore my Self Smarts by tucking away into my warm and quiet shell where I can listen to my own thoughts and feelings.
Sometimes I find noise and large crowds overwhelming, so it is important I take time out to relax and meditate. In my shell I am able to calm my mind, body and heart.
I understand what makes me sad, mad or scared. I also know what makes me happy and excited! I know this because I listen to what feels true for me. My heart is filled with love and an inner-knowledge of all the feelings that live deep inside me.
Whilst I have a perfect shell for hiding in, this does not mean I hide away from the outside world. In fact, I stick out my neck and face life. My shell is a strong and sturdy shield large enough to share with others who are in need of comfort.
No matter how chaotic things may seem, my strong mind supports my expressive heart and teaches me to never give up. When I look into the eyes of others, I feel that we all have parts of ourselves that are so similar, even if we seem so different.
I am happy in my own company. Everyday I walk to the river and daydream. When I look at my reflection, I can see my inner world floating in the blue water. It is filled with my thoughts and feelings. I believe it is so important to express and explore what lives within.
Somebody special once told me, “If you don't allow yourself to look at all of your feelings, even the sad and bad ones - your feelings might become like a traffic jam. We need to let them all flow through so that there is enough room left for the happy ones.”
What an important lesson this is - to allow every feeling to be a gift! Join me, as you learn to listen to your heart, look after your special self and most of all understand and express your feelings.

If you are a sensitive creature like me, it's important to listen to your feelings. Did you know that it is possible to feel ten feelings at once? Give yourself permission to feel all of them....and then once you have, choose the feeling that makes you feel best and focus on that!
It is so important to create a space for ourselves to feel safe. Sometimes the world can feel too loud or too fast. Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed with all of the feelings both inside and outside of us. Lucky for you, you can use your imagination to create a ruby shell just like me. Tuck yourself away in there, tell yourself kind and comforting thoughts and then come back out when you are ready to face the day!
I might be quiet to most but my mind and heart are always talking to me. I choose to speak up when I feel it is right. I mostly speak with my energy. That means, I observe those around me with warmth and choose to speak up when I feel ready to. Did you know that you can talk with your eyes? Giving someone a kind gaze can be bigger than a million words spoken.
