I believe that wisdom and magic can be found in all that is surrounding me. Whether it is inside the trees, the lakes, twigs or rocks, I use nature to help with my learning and discovering. I enjoy my days wandering through lush gardens, friendly forests and beaches adorned in golden sand.
I often turn to the trees for guidance. They give me shelter when I’m feeling tired. I build a cubby with their help. The leaves are my curtains and the branches hold me while I rest. This helps me re-energise so I can get ready for my next adventure.
I was given a magical, curled leaf when I was born that now lives on my tummy. It is perfect for storing nature’s gifts. It may look small, but remember it is magical, so it is filled with explorations of wildlife which are very special to me. My curled leaf holds a sea shell that sounds like the ocean. It also holds a jar bursting with rainbow-coloured flower petals and a lucky feather that flew into my hands on a day when I needed it most. I have so many other treasures kept safe within my curled leaf but I will leave them for you to imagine.
I like to sleep outside just so I can watch the night sky glowing with thousands of wishing stars. I always write down my discoveries; whether it be finding a new stone, a flower or an animal. I believe that the earth is filled with beloved presents. I never feel lonely, because I know all other living creatures and the trees are my friends. I am always lending a hand in taking care of animals needing shelter, food and love. Please join me in the exploration of our precious earth and help me take care of nature’s priceless gifts.
“Be kind to your earth. If you listen closely... it whispers life’s secrets.”
- Willow
Nature shows us how to be peaceful. It shows us how to be kind. Nature never compares or judges. We never say 'This tree is too tall! This tree is too short!' We just allow the trees to be as they are; perfectly them....just as you are perfectly you.
We need to learn how to be patient and kind with every creature that breathes. Every creature has a story and a heart waiting to be loved.
Don't believe me? I dare you to try and talk to the next rose you see. Especially the ones that are in need of some life. If you whisper in their ears asking for their friendship, I guarantee they will feel brave enough to open up their petals once more.
